the dave cave

it's not quite a real studio, or a home studio, but the inbetweeness serves my self recording/producing nature quite well, and for when the right
outside project comes along. the space has been constantly evolving since november of 07 in the basement of the richmond ballet down on canal st, with a goal to handle both my needs and the needs of the ballet. it has seen the release of a handful of my music, and a few projects i've helped freinds put together, and much audio and video editing for various dance projects.  i'm never actively booking recording sessions, as i have a lot on my plate pretty much always, but always feel free to direct any questions about my studio space, my recordings, collaborations and whatnot to me  at davewatkinsddsp@gmail.com 
special thanks to richmond ballet for allowing me the use of the space and opportunity to do what i do.

the above photos are from tracking the low branches at the cave in the winter of 2010 with allen bergendahl of viking recording as head engineer,
it was a lovely time, i mainly assisted, provided spaces, the building of random things, tuned drums, drank tea, and other randomness.
