the dave cave + various recording/music services
It's wasn't quite a real studio, or a home studio, but the inbetweeness served my self recording/producing nature quite well. The space began evolving in November of 07 in the basement of the Richmond Ballet down on Canal St, with a goal to handle both my needs and the needs of the ballet. It had seen the release of a handful of my music, and a few projects I helped friends put together, and much audio and video editing for various dance projects.
Due to renovations the original Dave Cave is no more as of 2017.

the above photos are from tracking the low branches at the cave in the winter of 2010 with allen bergendahl of viking recording as head engineer, it was a lovely time, i mainly assisted, provided spaces, the building of random things, tuned drums, drank tea, and other randomness.
Dave Cave v2.1 has come together in Scott's Addition after v2 got setback entirely by a roof leak:
